CyberConnect2 Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) hereby declares that it fully understands the importance of personal information, handles the personal information it collects in conformance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and provisions set out below with respect to its protection, and makes every effort to protect it.

  1. Definition of personal information
    In accordance with our protection of personal information policy, personal information is any information prescribed as “Personal Information” by law (which includes information related to living individuals, including information relevant to their full name, date of birth, and any other descriptive and specific information from which they may be identified or any personal identification numbers), and information which includes personal information such as e-mail addresses which may be used in connection with a specific individual.
  2. Compliance with laws and related norms
    With respect to the handling of personal information, the Company will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other norms relating to the protection of personal information.
  3. Promulgation of the policy within the Company
    The Company will set forth its provisions in the form of the privacy policy known to all officers and employees and make efforts to observe it. It will conduct the educational activities necessary for appropriate handling of personal information and aim to improve knowledge and awareness of information management.
  4. Collection and use of personal information
    The Company will collect personal information by legitimate and fair means.
  5. Use of personal information
    With respect to the handling of the personal information the Company collects, the Company will determine and specify purposes of use in advance and use the information only for such purposes. Furthermore, the purposes of its use provided for in this privacy policy in advance are as follows:

    • ① Personal information of customers who use the Company’s business activities, products and services
      To follow the necessary procedures for game management, such as provision of services, recording and examination, and verification of bugs.
      To prepare marketing materials and statistical information, conduct usage analysis, and improve and enhance the quality of Company services.
      To respond to, examine, and record customer opinions, inquires, and contact, and to improve communication with customers.
    • ② Personal information of representatives at client companies
      To contact, report to, and settle accounts with such persons regarding transactions.
    • ③ Personal information of applicants provided for employment and recruitment
      To contact and provide information to applicants for employment and recruitment, and to use such information for other employment and recruitment activities.
    • ④ Personal Information of the Company’s employees
      To make business communications with, verify attendance and absence of, evaluate, provide benefits to, and pay salaries to such employees.
  6. Secure management of personal information
    The Company will manage personal information in strict confidence and put in place appropriate technical measures in accordance with its internal regulations to prevent the disclosure of or damage to the personal information it collects, and to prevent the use of it for any purposes other than those listed in the preceding article.
  7. Disclosure and presentation of personal information to third parties
    In the event that the Company outsources the handling of the personal information it collects to any third party, it will do so by legitimate and fair means and enter into an appropriate agreement with and supervise the third party in order to exercise secure management of the personal information.
  8. Disclosure, amendment and deletion of personal information
    In the event that any provider of personal information requests that the Company disclose, amend, delete, object, or suspend the use of such information, the Company will immediately respond to the request to the extent reasonable in accordance with laws.   10. Continuous improvement of personal information protection
