Hello, everybody! This is Niizato, director of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3.
Today I'd like to share with everyone the finer details of one of the new mechanics in Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3—the Akasha Panel.
The Fuga: Melodies of Steel series has always been about the choices you make. From the Soul Cannon to route selection, all the choices you make can lead to different endings.
This is especially true of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3, where your decisions will not only dictate whether you get the Normal Ending or the True Ending, but unlock different character events and Special Endings. The Akasha Panel changes visually according to the choices you make, giving you a stress-free way to see the outcomes of your choices.
Optional nodes can also be found alongside the chronologically ordered nodes on the Akasha Panel. These nodes can be unlocked and played, and today, I'd like to give you a closer look at one of them.
By raising your Bravery and Tactics levels with the new Assist System in Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3, you'll be able to recruit powerful assist characters to your party and call upon them to attack for you in battle.
Among the assist characters that can join you on your journey is a former enemy—Flam Kish. She faced off against the children as an enemy general, before facing a terrible defeat. Why is it that she has decided to now help her former foes? You can find out for yourself in the Akasha Panel!
Unlock this episode of her past in the Akasha Panel by recruiting her to your party.
Learn what happened to Flam after her defeat at the hands of the Taranis, and even more! The Akasha Panel will let you know all about a character's past, and even... their future!
Hello everybody! This is Niizato, the director of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 will finally be releasing on May 29th, and in anticipation of that there are a few things I wanted to share.
While we took the greatest care to make sure that Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 could be enjoyed without having to play the previous games, it is the finale in the series, and we're sure you will enjoy Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 even more if you know about the characters as they appeared in previous titles, or about the story that is coming to a conclusion in this latest chapter!
Today's update brings Fast Mode to Fuga: Melodies of Steel 1 and 2. Put very simply, Fast Mode makes you invincible during battles. The Soul Cannon of the Fuga series forces you to sacrifice a child to defeat an enemy, but Fast Mode has no demerits whatsoever, allowing you to quickly cut through your foes. What's more, you can even use Fast Mode in the middle of your normal playthrough as a separate save data.
This means that once you've played through to the end and had your fill of the story with Fast Mode, you can go back to your original save point and enjoy the game again, this time with the battles in place. But of course, how you choose to enjoy the game is entirely up to you! Please treat it simply as an option that exists for your benefit.
You can choose to enter Fast Mode from the very start of Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3, but as someone who has worked on the game I can't personally recommend doing so. My suggestion is that you first play through the newly powered-up battle system, and if you need to, you can always change to Fast Mode halfway through!
